Our team of instructors are comprised of talented musicians equipped with many years of musical experience.
All instructors have a deep passion for sharing their joy of music with children.
Every instructor has been through a training process to teach their specific instrument in a teaching style that is fun, nurturing, and best suited for the student’s level.
Many students have commented that they are less intimidated and feel more open with a relatable high school instructor.

The Power of Music
Life Skills
Many life skills and lessons are learned and strengthened by playing an instrument. A few of the many skills that are learned are confidence, patience, ingenuity, determination, and critical thinking. The application of these skills are useful and effective throughout life.
Joy, Happiness, Passion
The most important benefit of music is that it is fun and enjoyable! Being able to play music can foster a deeper sense of joy that music can bring to one’s life. Developing passion for music at an early age can encourage exploration for all of the opportunities available through music.
The Future
The musical journey doesn’t have to end after playing in a school band or singing in a school choir. The music industry is continuously growing and expanding. Starting musical training at a young age can develop an appreciation and musical skills that may lead to more than a hobby, but a fulfilling career.
Our Mission
Purpose: At Meaning in Music, we connect talented high school musicians with young aspiring students who are new to music. During these lessons, students learn, explore and establish an impactful mentoring relationship, inspiring students to compose their own musical journey. We believe that it is our responsibility to give back to the community by funding elementary school music programs in need.
Vision: Our goal is to create teach a total of 1750 hours of music lessons by 2025.
Values: We value providing the opportunity to learn music disregarding differences, the power to bring community together through music, and having access to musical resources at a young age.
